Shanzida is a junior working towards a B.S. in Chemistry on the Pre-Medical track, and a minor in Biology. She is passionate not only about learning and observing how chemistry is in all aspects of life, but also in advocating for minority rights and issues. She is a UGC Forever Fellow at Stony Brook University, an AP Chemistry tutor and she enjoys being a peer mentor in both these roles. She is a baking novice, an artist, and is currently working with NEoN Arts at Carnegie Hall to create an informational coffee-table book on Jean-Michel Basquiat.
