Iqra is a sophomore on the pre-med track majoring in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry. She is also a University Scholar, TA for many general chemistry courses, and Head of Public Relations for SBU English Pal, an organization at our campus which enables international students to practice English with native students in a friendly setting, serving as a bridge for friendship and cross-cultural understanding. Iqra is passionate about decreasing stigma associated with mental health, particularly in Asian communities, by raising awareness. When she is not studying, Iqra loves to watch old movies to admire classic fashion or she plays games with her brothers.
